Vacuum Pump, Removing And Installing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items needed







- VAG 1331 Torque wrench (or equivalent 5 - 50 Nm )

The vacuum pump is located under the ABS assembly and can be removed outwards after removing the left wheel well liner.







- Remove securing nuts -3-, 5 Nm (44 in lb) and pull out pump from the wheel opening.
- Pull vacuum pump -1- upward from bracket -2- complete with rubber mountings.
- 4- hose routing to vacuum servo.
