Tool Requirements
- VAS 5051 or 5052
- InCharge 940 (INC-940) charging station
Condition 1
Clock runs Too Fast:
Instrument cluster software needs to be updated.
Battery MUST have minimum no-load charge of 12.5V (failure to maintain voltage during process can lead to Instrument Cluster failure) (Use an approved battery charger/maintainer to maintain voltage).
VAS 5051: connected to vehicle and to 110V AC Power supply at all times during procedure.
VAS 5052: connect to vehicle with battery requirements met.
Any appliance with high electromagnetic radiation (i.e. mobile phones) switched OFF.
- Connect VAS 5051/52 to telediagnosis
- Call VW Technicians Helpline
Condition 2
Clock runs too slow:
- Call VW Technicians Helpline.
Condition 3
Clock or illumination of clock is inoperative:
- Replace analog clock.
