Sealing flanges and flywheel/drive plate

Assembly overview





1 - 90 Nm plus 1/4 turn (90°)
^ Replace
^ Use counter support 3415 to loosen and tighten.
^ Threads and shoulder must be free of oil and grease.

2 - Crankshaft toothed belt pulley

3 - 15 Nm

4 - Oil seal
^ For crankshaft - belt pulley end

5 - Sealing flange - belt pulley end
^ Must fit on dowel sleeves
^ Remove oil pan in order to remove and install.

6 - Cylinder block

7 - 60 Nm plus 1/4 turn (90°)
^ Replace

8 - Flywheel/drive plate
^ To remove and install flywheel counterhold with flywheel retainer 3067

9 - Intermediate plate
^ Must fit on dowel sleeves
^ Do not damage/bend when assembling

10 - Sealing flange with oil seal
^ Replace complete only
^ To remove and install remove engine or transmission and oil pan
^ Use protective sleeve supplied when installing
^ Do not additionally oil or grease oil seal sealing lip
^ Before installing, remove oil residue from crankshaft journal using a clean cloth
^ Remove protective sleeve first after sealing flange has been installed on crankshaft journal
