Ribbed Drive Belt Assembly Overview





1 Ribbed belt

• Mark direction of rotation before removing

• Check for wear

• Do not kink

• Removing and installing => [ Ribbed Drive Belt ] Ribbed Drive Belt.

2 10 Nm + 90° (1/4 turn) additional turn

3 Vibration damper pulley

• Only possible to install in one position - Bores are offset

4 25 Nm

5 Tensioner

• To release tension on ribbed drive belt, pivot using open-end wrench => [ Ribbed Drive Belt ] Ribbed Drive Belt.

6 Generator

7 Accessory bracket

• For the generator, power steering pump and A/C compressor

8 45 Nm

• Observe tightening sequence => [ Tightening Sequence, Accessory Bracket to Cylinder Block ] Engine Block and Attachments

9 Banjo bolt, 30 Nm

10 Seal

• Replace

11 Pressure line

12 Power steering pump

• For power steering

13 Pulley

• For power steering pump
