1 Bracket

• For the EGR cooler by-pass flap

2 22 Nm

3 5 Nm

4 Intake manifold

• With motor for intake flap (V157)

5 O-ring

• Replace

6 EGR vacuum regulator solenoid valve (N18)

• Removing and installing => [ Exhaust Gas Return Vacuum Regulator Solenoid Valve ] Service and Repair.

7 10 Nm

8 Gasket

• Replace

9 Connecting pipe

• Intake manifold, by-pass flap

• First install the bolts loosely, then tighten

10 Radiator

• For Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) system

• Connecting => [ By-Pass Flap and Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooler, Installing ] Service and Repair.

• Coolant hose connection diagram => [ Coolant Hose Connection Diagram ] [1][2]Diagrams.

11 Exhaust manifold

• Replace the complete turbocharger only

• Removing and installing => [ Turbocharger ] Turbocharger.

12 Gasket

• Replace

13 22 Nm

• Replace

• Coat stud bolts with hot bolt paste (G 052 112 A3)

14 Connecting pipe

• Turbocharger by-pass flap

• First install the nuts/bolts loosely, then tighten

15 Gasket

• Replace

16 Bypass-flap

• Guides the exhaust gas via activation through the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) cooler switch-over valve (N345) into the exhaust gas recirculation cooler

• Connection diagram for vacuum hoses => [ Vacuum Hose Connection Diagram ] Vacuum and Vapor Hose Diagrams.

• Coolant hose connection diagram => [ Coolant Hose Connection Diagram ] [1][2]Diagrams.

• Connecting => [ By-Pass Flap and Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooler, Installing ] Service and Repair.
