Removing
- Remove generator
- Loosen A/C compressor, unscrew hex-bolts -6-. Remove A/C compressor from auxiliary component bracket and secure to body with appropriate material (e.g. welding wire)
- Unscrew bolts -1- to -4- and -7- and -8- and remove auxiliary component bracket -10- from cylinder block.
Installing
- Always observe tightening torque of mounting bolts:
- Tighten cylinder collar bolt, items -1- (alignment bore), -7- (alignment bore), -4-, -8-, -3- and -2- in succession.
Securing A/C compressor to body
If A/C compressor is removed and refrigerant circuit not opened, A/C compressor must be secured to body using appropriate material, a welding wire for example.
Make sure that coolant hoses remain on A/C compressor without tension for this.
NOTE:
- When installing the belt ensure it is correctly seated in the ribbed belt pulley.
- Last, install ribbed belt over ribbed belt pulley of A/C compressor.
