Transmission Control Module (TCM) J217 - arrow -
Component location: Control module is located in left front wheel housing.
- To remove and install, wheel housing liner must be removed.





Multi-Function Transmission Range (TR) Switch F125
Component location: The multi-function switch is located on upper side of transmission.





Valve body
Component location: Valve body is bolted on to transmission housing below and covered by transmission oil pan.

Solenoid valves N88 and N89 as well as pressure control valves N90, N91, N92, N93, N282 and N283 are secured to valve body.





Wiring harness, 8-pin

Component location: Wiring harness is secured to valve body in transmission.

Component location: Ignition lock - 1 - is installed beside steering column in instrument panel.

Component location: Sensors are installed above valve body in transmission housing.

Tiptronic Switch F189
Component location: The Tiptronic switch is integrated in selector mechanism.

For vehicles with multi-function steering wheel, buttons on steering wheel and corresponding wire connections must be checked.

Component location: Data Link Connector (DLC) - arrow - is located under left driver-side storage compartment
