Flywheel retainer (3067)

Removing

- Remove the clutch.

To prevent damage to the dual mass flywheel when removing, the bolts - B - must not be removed using an air powered or impact wrench. Only removing the bolts - B - by hand is permitted.





- Rotate the dual mass flywheel - A - so that bolts - B - are centered to the holes - arrows -.

- When removing the bolts - B -, make sure that bolt head is not jammed on the flywheel.

- Install the (3067) in a hole on the cylinder block.





Installed location of flywheel retainer:

A To tighten

B To loosen

- Mark the position of the flywheel to the engine.

- Remove the flywheel.

Installing

Installation is performed in reverse order. When doing this note the following:

- Replace the bolts and tighten the flywheel.

Tightening specification: Tighten to 60 Nm and then turn it an additional 90° (1/4 turn).
