Luggage Compartment Light

The Luggage Compartment Light (W3) is located in the luggage compartment trim on the right side.

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trim removal wedge (VAS 3409)

CAUTION!
• Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers.

• Remove ignition key.

• When removing and installing components in a visible area (switches, covers, trim, etc.), mask off the areas at which a prying tool (VAS 3409), screwdriver) will be positioned, using commercially available adhesive tape.

Removing

- Pry the Luggage Compartment Light - 1 - out of the luggage compartment trim - arrow - using the (VAS 3409).





- Disconnect electrical connection - arrow -.





Bulb, replacing

- Push the Luggage Compartment Light contact plate - 1 - outward and remove the soffit - 2 - from the socket.





- Replace bulb (12V, 10 W).

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.
