Noises come from front of vehicle/engine when accelerating.

Technical Background





Smaller diameter refrigerant pipe (illustration 1, in red) may knock against wheel arch when accelerating.

Production Solution





A rubber dampener is installed (see illustration 2, green arrow) on the smaller diameter refrigerant pipe.

Service

^ Inspect mounting/contact points of refrigerant pipes in area of suspension strut/engine mounting.





^ Install dampener Part No. 5N0820577on smaller diameter refrigerant pipe (in area of contact point to body or engine mount) (illustration 3, green ellipse).
