Washer Nozzle, Rear, Leaking
Washer nozzle may leak when not in use.
Technical Background
Dripping nozzle is caused by excess solvent in long feeder hose.
Production Solution
New hose and flow valve installed.
Service
Install an additional non-return/check valve and connection hose.
Tip:
Observe and ensure correct position of flow direction arrow on check valve Part No. 113955 975C.
Ensure new connection hose is routed properly and does not kink.
Illustration 1:
1. Remove lower trim of rear lid, see Repair Manual Group 70 Interior Trim in ElsaWeb.
2. Remove hose from washer system at wiper motor (4).
3. Install check valve, hose and clamps as shown in illustration 1:
^ Non-return valve (2) Part No. 113955975C
^ Hose (3) Part No. 443955665
^ 2x clips Part No. N10203501
1. Connect hose with valve to washer system at the wiper motor (4) and secure with clamps.
2. Secure hose to washer system with tie wrap (1).
3. Ensure proper routing of installed parts.
4. Install lower trim of rear lid, see Repair Manual Group 70 Interior Trim in ElsaWeb.
