Engine Lubrication: Testing and Inspection

CHECKING OIL PRESSURE:

Conditions;
1. Grade, quality and viscosity of engine oil must be as specified.
2. New oil filter must be fitted.
3. Engine must be warm.

Checking Pressure:
- Measure pressure with gauge 5270 using adapter 5273 to connection for oil pressure sender.

- Oil pressure at 33 r/s (2000 r/min) should be 250-600 kPa (35.6-85.3 psi).

In Case of Incorrect Values, Check:
1. oil level
2. oil leakages
3. relief valve in oil pump
