Air Flow Meter/Sensor: Service and Repair

PROTECTIVE SCREEN REPLACEMENT

The protective screen(s) can be replaced on air mass meter with aluminum housing, 1983-84 M/Y.

Screen 1357985-9 1 or 2
(as needed)




1. Remove lock ring and screen
2. Pry out the lock ring with a small screwdriver.
3. Install screen and lock ring. Make sure the lock ring is fully inserted in the groove.

REINSTALL

1. Rubber connector cover at air mass meter
2. Connector cover at LH control unit
3. Right side kick panel
