Injector Leakage Test
1. Remove injectors from cylinder head as outlined under Fuel Injectors and Fuel Distributor Tests.
2. Examine the tip of each injector while the pump is running. A slight seepage may be observed at the injector tips but no drops should be formed. If drops form at the injector tips, check for:
a. Improperly adjusted air flow sensor.
b. Fuel distributor plunger seized.
c. Leaking fuel distributor O-ring.
d. Internal fuel distributor leaks at the steel diaphragm.
3. Lift (on B-21) or depress (on B-28) the air flow sensor plate to cause the injectors to spray.
4. Release the sensor plate. Injectors must not seep more than one drop in 15 seconds.
5. If one injector leaks, see ``Testing Injectors.'' If all injectors leak, check the line and rest pressures.
