Computers and Control Systems: Locations

Under Hood Components:

A/C PRESSURE SENSOR:
Located on the evaporator coil.

AIR MASS METER:
Located in the intake system in front driver side of engine compartment.

BALLAST RESISTOR:
Located on driver side front of engine compartment.

COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR:
Located in the cylinder head at the left rear of the engine.

CRANKSHAFT POSITION/SPEED SENSOR (HALL SENSOR):
Located in distributor.

FUEL INJECTORS:
Located in the intake manifold very near the cylinder head.

IDLE AIR VALVE:
Located below the throttle housing.

POWER STAGE:
Located on driver side front of engine compartment at wheel well.

SUPPRESSOR RELAY:
Located in front of driver side strut tower.

THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR:
Located on the throttle plate housing.
