DB1

Reading Light Diode:

Connection and initialization
- Place the selector cable in socket 2 (Regina) of the diagnostic socket.
- Ignition on.

^ Continue with Mode 1 DB1 or Mode 2 DB4 or Mode 3 DB6.

DB2




Mode 1
- Press once (approx. 1 second) on the button.
- Read off the flashing LED code.

If code 1-1-1 is obtained:
No fault codes are stored.
^ Fault codes Rex-I DB4.

If other fault code is obtained:
- Note down the fault codes
- Read off as previously until the first code returns.
- Note all the fault codes.

^ Continue with Deletion of fault codes DB3.

Deletion of fault codes
Deletion of fault codes is only possible after the codes have been read at least once.
- Press down the button for approx. 5 seconds.

When the LED lights up,
- Press the button for approx. 5 seconds.

The fault codes should now be erased.
- Check that the fault codes have been deleted by pressing the button once (approx. 1 second).

If code 1-1-1 is obtained:
The fault codes have been deleted.
^ Continue with Fault codes Rex-I DB4.

If another code is obtained:
^ Repeat the Deletion of fault codes DB3

Fault codes Rex-I
Place the selector cable in position 6 and read off the ignition system's fault codes in the same way as for the fuel system according to DB2.

When both the diagnostic Systems have been read off and erased:

DB5




Mode 2
- Press twice on the button (about 1 second each time). The LED begins to flash rapidly when Mode 2 is activated.
Activate the sensor which is to be checked according to the table.

Regina
- Throttle contact in idling position OK 3-3-2
- Throttle contact (wide load) OK 3-3-3
- Engine speed signal from ignition system OK 3-3-1
- AC-control OK 1-1-4
- AC compressor engagement OK 1-3-4
- Engine speed compensation for automatic
gearbox OK 1-2-4

Rex-I
- Throttle contact in idling position 3-3-4
- Pulse sensor signal OK 1-4-1

If the LED Still flashes rapidly when a sensor has been activated:
^ The control unit has not received any signal from the sensor.

Terminate mode 2
- Switch off the ignition.

DB6

Entering Control Function #3:

Mode 3
- Press three times on the button (about 1 second each time).
The control unit activates the control components in the order indicated in the table. Activation three times.
- Listen to whether the component is activated.

If the component is not activated:
^ The component does not receive any signal from the control unit.

Terminate mode 3
- Switch off the ignition.
