RB1
Start engine or crank> 10 sec
An attempt must be made to start the engine within 10 seconds or an engine speed signal fault message will be logged.
If the engine does not start the starter motor must be operated for at least 10 seconds. This is so the ST can determine whether there is an engine speed signal.
RB2
To continue test start engine
1. The test is complete because the key has been turned to position 0 and no faults have been found.
2. Messages may also be received if there is a break in the power supply from the ignition switch to both MFI and DI.

RB3
End of crank, fault found
The engine will not start and the ST has found the fault.

RB4
End of crank no faults found
The engine will not start but all signals monitored by the ST are correct. The engine does not start because of a fault in the FP or the high voltage system.
RB5
End of test, fault found
1. The ST has found a fault which does not cause the engine to stop running and the ignition has been switched off.
2. The ST has found a fault which causes the engine to stop running.

RB6
End of test, no fault found
The engine has stopped running but the ST has not found a fault.
The message can be obtained in the following circumstances:
- Engine stops running when the clutch pedal is let up too quickly.
- If the ST has not managed to detect the fault before engine speed has dropped below the lower engine speed limit.
- The fault Is In pan of the DI system or fuel system not monitored by the ST. For example the high voltage system.

RB7
End of crank, fault found, old fault exists
End of crank, no fault found, old fault exists
The ST has found a fault from a previous occasion. The fault has not been deleted which means that the ST will not perform all tests when the engine is being started. The message Is displayed If the engine does not start.
Note that the logged fault messages need have no link with the fact that the car does not start.
