CO-Adjustment

NOTE:
There are no provisions for CO adjustment. CO content can only be checked.

1. Remove exhaust test plug in front of catalytic converter.
2. Connect CO meter to test opening.
3. Disconnect Lambda sond (oxygen sensor). Fig. 332.
4. Check CO content 10 minutes after engine has reached operating temperature.
5. If engine is working properly, the CO content should be within specifications (see emission sticker or "SPECIFICATIONS").
6. Reconnect Lambda sond (oxygen sensor).
7. Disconnect CO meter and reinstall test plug in front of catalytic converter.
