Checking system for leaks





Pressure test cooling system
Use pressure tester 998 5496.

Connect tester to T-piece on vent line between expansion tank and radiator.

Increase pressure and check opening pressure and tightness of filler cap:
- correct pressure is 150 kPa (22 lb/in)
- pressure in system should be steady
