Oil Charge

1. Discharge A/C system as described in "Discharging System.
2. After approximately five minutes the pressure in the recovery station will equalize.
3. Check recovery station drain valve for any oil that may have come out of the A/C system during system discharge.
4. Measure amount of oil in sight gauge and add an equal amount of oil to system.
5. To add oil directly to the A/C system, use valve extractor tool No. 981 1994-4, or equivalent, to remove Schraeder valve.

6. Using a clean syringe, measure how much oil needs to be added to the system, Fig 5. .
7. Add needed oil and replace Schrader valve.
