1-4-1 Faulty Pedal Sensor, Short To Ground Or Supply Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information

Condition for DTC





If control unit finds that pedal sensor circuit:
- is shorted to ground or supply.
- has an open circuit in the circuit.
- is giving a faulty signal.
- it posts DTC 1-4-1

Substitute value
ABS/TRACS cutting out.

Sources of fault
- Signal lead shorted to ground or supply
- Open circuit in ground or signal lead
- Ground and signal lead shorted to one another
- Faulty pedal sensor
- Contact resistance in terminals
