Check Signal Lead [EC6]

Check Signal Lead





- Ignition off.
- Disconnect brake light switch





Connect an ohmmeter between brake light switch connector terminals 2 and #32 on test box.

Ohmmeter should read approx. 0 Ohms.

If reading is OK:





- DTC was due to poor contact in control module or brake light switch connector. Check connectors for contact resistance and oxidation as per HA6. Contact Resistance and Oxidation [HA6]

If reading is incorrect:
- Check lead between brake light switch connector terminal 2 and control module #32 for open circuit as per HA2. Open Circuit [HA2]
