Checking Signal From Brake Light Switch





- Ignition off.





- Connect test box and check ground points as per JA. Connecting test box. Connecting Test Box [JA]
- Disconnect control module.

Connect a voltmeter between #32 and #1 on test box. Voltmeter should read approx. 0V.

- Depress brake pedal.

Voltmeter should now read approx. 0.3 V below battery supply.

If reading is OK:
- Check brake light switch tripping EC7. Check Brake Light Switch Tripping [EC7]

If reading is incorrect:
- Check fuse 11/12 EC3. Checking Fuse 11/12 [EC3]
