Checking Leads And Terminals





- Check wheel sensor and control module connector (and for rear wheel sensors connectors 24/19, 24/4 and 24/2) for loose contact as per HA5 and contact resistance and oxidation as per HA6. Checking Leads and Connections [HA]

Check lead between wheel sensor connector terminal 1 and control module:
- #45 (DTC 3-1-4)
- #46 (DTC 3-1-3)
- #47 (DTC 3-1-2)
- #48 (DTC 3-1-1)

for intermittent open circuit as per HA2, intermittent short-circuit to ground as per HA3, and intermittent short-circuit to supply as per HA4. Checking Leads and Connections [HA]

NOTE: In cars with integrated cabling to rear wheel sensor, check lead between wheel sensor itself and control module.

Check lead between wheel sensor connector terminal 2 and control module:
- #27 (DTC 3-1-4)
- #28 (DTC 3-1-3)
- #29 (DTC 3-1-2)
- #30 (DTC 3-1-1)

for intermittent open circuit as per HA2, intermittent short-circuit to ground as per HA3, and intermittent short-circuit to supply as per HA4. Checking Leads and Connections [HA]

NOTE: In cars with integrated cabling to rear wheel sensors, check lead between wheel sensor itself and control module.
