4-2-4 TRACS Pressure Sensor, Faulty Or Short-circuited

Conditions for DTC





If pressure sensor circuit is short-circuited to ground/supply, if there is an open circuit in the circuit or if the pressure sensor cuts in before the brake light switch, the control module interprets this as a fault and posts DTC 4-2-4.

Substitute value
- TRACS cuts out.

Sources of fault
- Ground and signal lead short-circuited to ground or supply.
- Open circuit in ground or signal lead.
- Faulty pressure sensor (hydraulic unit).
- Brake light switch adjustment altered.
- Contact resistance at terminals.

- None.
