Changing the transfer rate






Open the cover on the diagnostic hookup. Connect selector cable to hookup 2 on diagnostic hookup B. Or hookup Diagnostic Key and follow its instructions.

Change to double transfer rate, trouble code 3-1-2.

Ignition ON. Press the button on diagnostic hookup A four times: each press more than 1 second. When the LED lights up, press the button 3 times and wait until the light diode lights up. Then press the button once and wait until the LED lights up. Then press button twice and wait.

If the pressing is done correctly, the LED will blink out the code 3-1-2 in the new speed.

NOTE!: If the ignition is turned OFF all communication with the diagnostic hookup ceases. The procedure for changing the transfer rate then has to be repeated. It the LED does not light up when the button is pressed, check the voltage and ground to the diagnostic hookup.

If the control module does not respond (blinking diode), check the diagnostic lead to connection 4S in the control module plinth.
