Engine Cooling Fan

Electric Cooling Fan:

PURPOSE
The electric fan is controlled by the ECU to reduce power loss and improve sound comfort.

OPERATION
The fan is operated by the ECU through the fan relay in response to high engine temperature or directly by the AC high-pressure switch.

If coolant temperature is high when the engine is switched "OFF", the ECU will allow the fan to continue running for an additional 5 minutes.
