Relief Valve

NOTE: On models with R134a, the relief valve is mounted on the compressor.





Relief Valve Installed On Connecting Pipe.
^ The valve should open if the system pressure becomes excessive and close when the pressure returns to normal.
^ If the valve opens, check that no system fault is present.
^ The type of relief valve installed depends on the type and model of car. The location may also differ.
