Check If Signal Lead Shorted to Ground Lead [EB5]

Check If Signal Lead Shorted To Ground Lead





- Ignition off.
- Disconnect pedal sensor.
- Disconnect control module.

Connect an ohmmeter between #16 and #41 on test box.

Ohmmeter should read (Infinite resistance).

If reading is OK:
- Reason for DTC was poor contact in pedal sensor connector. Check pedal sensor and control module connector for contact resistance and oxidation as per HA6. Contact Resistance and Oxidation [HA6]

If reading is incorrect:
- Check leads between pedal sensor connector terminal 1 and 2 and control module #16 and #41 for shorting to each other as per HA4. Short Circuit to Supply [HA4]
