Checking Signal Lead





- Ignition off.
- Install pedal sensor as per LF. Pedal sensor, replacement. Service and Repair
- Connect pedal sensor.
- Connect control module.
- Ignition on.

Connect a voltmeter between #16 and #41 on test box. With the pedal in the released position (pedal sensor position 1), voltmeter should read approx. 1.0 V.

If reading is OK:
- Check leads and terminals EB9. Checking Leads and Terminals [EB9]

If voltmeter reading stays below approx. 1.0 V:
- Check lead between pedal sensor connector terminal 1 and control module #16 for short to ground as per HA3. Short Circuit to Ground [HA3]

If voltmeter reading stays above approx. 1.0 V:
- Check lead between pedal sensor connector terminal 1 and control module #16 for short to supply as per HA4. Short Circuit to Supply [HA4]
