Conditions for DTC









DTC 3-1-X. If control module finds that the signal from the wheel sensor is missing and there is an open circuit in the circuit or the circuit is short-circuited to ground/supply, it posts DTC 3-1-1, 3-1-2, 3-1-3 or 3-1-4, depending on the wheel sensor involved.

Substitute value
- ABS/TRACS cuts out.

Sources of fault
- Signal lead short-circuited to ground or supply.
- Open circuit in ground or signal lead.
- Ground and signal leads shorted to one another.
- Faulty wheel sensor.
- Contact resistance in connections.

Symptoms
None.
