Checking Hydraulic Brake System





- Ignition off.





- Push brake pedal down hard 3 - 4 times, so that vacuum in power brake booster overload relay disappears.

- Push brake pedal down hard as if braking violently.

Brake pedal should feel stiff and pedal should not travel more than 40 mm (1.57").

If brake pedal is working OK:

If brake pedal feels 'soft' or falls:
- Check for brake fluid leak EK2. Checking For Brake Fluid Leak [EK2]
