Brake Pedal Assy: Service and Repair

Removal [LB1]
- Remove sound insulation.
- In cars with SRS, remove knee guard.
- Disconnect brake pedal from support bracket by removing locking spring.





- Remove locking washer, bushings and brake pedal.

Installing [LB2]
- Grease new bushings with grease 116 1241-3.
- Install new bushings.
- Install brake pedal and a new locking washer.
- Connect brake pedal to support bracket by locking spring.
- In cars with SRS, install knee guard, tighten to 20 Nm (15 ft.lb).
- Install sound insulation.
