Diagnostic Test Mode 2






Ignition ON

Go to diagnostic test mode 2 by connecting selector cable to hookup 2 on diagnostic hookup B and press the button on diagnostic hookup A twice, each press approximately 1 second. The LED should start to flash.

Check all signals prior to any possible repairs. See instructions below in the event that any response code is not flashed.

Note: If trouble code received does not match what is indicated refer to the appropriate trouble code for further diagnostics

Switch selector from OFF to ON 1-1-3

With selector in ON position:

Depress brake pedal 1-1-3
Depress clutch pedal 1-1-3
Press SET+ 1-3-1
Press SET- 2-1-3
Press RESUME 1-2-3

Shift automatic transmission
shift lever from N to D 2-2-3

With selector in the OFF position:
Depress brake pedal 1-3-2
Too many input signals simultaneously 3-1-1

If all the trouble codes are obtained, proceed to "Checking vacuum system"

When fault tracing:
Print out the wiring diagram . Then it is easier to follow the fault tracing process.
