Connection of Volvo System Tester

For more detailed description of connection and choice of cassette, refer to the User Manual which is supplied with the Volvo System Tester.

For troubleshooting, it is recommended that the Volvo System Tester be connected to both Rex-I and Regina when a test is to be conducted, unless otherwise specified previously.

Important!
If an adapter is connected to any control unit, the System Tester must be connected and the voltage supply connected or else the control system may be affected.




1. Ignition off. Remove fuse no.1.
2. Connect the adapters to Regina and Rex-I control units. Connect the extension cable and multiple adapter.
3. Connect the multiple adapter to the System Tester.
4. Insert the memory cassette for Regina I Rex-I. Insert fuse no.1.
5. Connect voltage supply to the System Tester.

Disconnect the Volvo System Tester
- Ignition off.
- Disconnect the voltage supply to the System Tester.
- Remove fuse no.1.
- Disconnect the adapters from the control units.
