Reprograming the Receiver Module

Both the transmitter's key codes are preprogrammed to the receiver module when the car is delivered, but can be reprogrammed if necessary, for example, if a new transmitter is installed.

When reprogramming the receiver it is important that each unique key code is entered. The receiver can store up to 3 transmitter codes in its memory.

Before starting reprogramming a check should be made that the remote control transmitter uses the same frequency as the receiver. The receiver module is marked with a letter as shown in the illustration. The part number of the receiver is engraved on underside of the receiver.

NOTE: New frequencies can be introduced later.

Marking receiver module P/N Transmitter
A (9148647) 9148646
C (9128710) 9128709
H (9128928) 9128927

To reprogram the receiver module do the following:

- Turn on the ignition to position I or II five times within the space of 10 seconds and leave the ignition on the fifth time.

- Within 30 seconds press one of the keys LOCK or UNLOCK on the transmitter once.
All the transmitters must be reprogrammed within a period of 30 seconds.

- Turn the ignition off.

- Verify the operation of each transmitter.

After reprogramming any previously stored key codes in the receiver module memory are erased and replaced by the latest code(s) programmed in.

NOTE: If neither of the LOCK or UNLOCK keys has been pressed within 30 seconds no reprogramming will take place and the receiver module will retain the previous key codes.
