Wiper Arm: Service and Repair

Removal:

- Undo nut, then do it up a few turns to protect threads on wiper arm mechanism shaft.
- Remove wiper arm from wiper mechanism by holding nut with polygrip pliers and pushing arm off.
- Remove nut.
- Remove wiper arm.

Installation:

- Install wiper arm.
- Fit nut, but do not tighten.
- Adjust position of wiper arm as in Image.
- Tighten nut. Torque setting 16 Nm (12 ft.lbf).
