Other Indicators

Flasher Indicator:

The trailer turn signal flasher indicator lamp, certain markets. When the turn signal lamp is used, the indicator lamp should flash in time with the turn signal indicator lamp. It the turn signal indicator lamp does not flash, one of the bulbs on the car or trailer is not working.

Tail Fog Indicator Lamp:

This indicator lamp should light when the fog tail lamp is switched on. The combination of fog tail lamp and other lamps is market-dependent. When the fog tail lamp is switched on an input in the combined instrument panel becomes live (12V) and the indicator lamp is lit.

High Beam:

This indicator lamp should light when high beam is on. When high beam is on an input in the combined instrument panel becomes live (12V) and the indicator lamp lights.

Glow Plug Indicator:

On Diesel Equipped vehicles, this indicator lamp lights when the glow plugs are activated. The glow plugs are activated when the ignition is on and the engine temperature is below +5°C (41°F). The glow plugs are activated for a period which depends on engine coolant temperature (ECT) and atmospheric pressure. Preheating is shut off when the ignition key is turned to the starting position.
