Rattling From Rear Seat Lock Button

Remove:

- corner protector.

Use a 2 mm drift to remove clips.





Remove:

- lock button from corner protector by carefully prizing it out using screwdriver at lugs.

- spring by pulling it out of the seat.





Replace lock button and spring.

Reuse indicator.

Lubricate indicator and the new spring before they are installed.

Install lock button and corner protector.

Applies to left backrest only

Note!
The following procedure should not be carried out in extremely cold markets.





Replace the rubber cushion with the new one in the kit, P/N 9188719-0.

Note!
Check locking power. The backrest must be easy to lock.

Applies only to cars with steel load displacement protection
