Transmission Shift Position Indicator Lamp: Service and Repair

- Turn ignition off.
- Handbrake on.
- Remove ashtray (2 TORX screws) and cigarette lighter compartment (2 TORX screws) and tunnel console as per Tunnel Compartment (Console) Removal Procedure. Service and Repair
- Pull bulb holder by the side of the gearshift down and remove contacts.
For bulb type, see Bulb Type. Service and Repair Bulb and holder form a single unit and cannot be separated.
- Replace lamp.
- Refit bulb holder.
- Refit tunnel console. Take care to avoid cracking.
- Connect connectors.
- Test Operation.
- Screw tunnel console in place and refit cover as per Tunnel Compartment (Console) Installation Procedure. Service and Repair
- Install and tighten cigarette lighter compartment and ashtray compartment.
