Trouble Code Conditions
- Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) EFI-311 is stored if engine speed (RPM) exceeds 3,330 rpm, internal load signal is above 6.5 ms and road speed is below 2 km/h for 7.5 seconds.

Substitute value(s)
- Engine control module assumes 0 km/h.
- Leakage diagnostic is turned off.

Possible source(s)
- Short-circuit to ground or supply voltage in signal cable.
- Open-circuit in signal cable.
- Contact resistance in terminals.
- Defective speedometer.
- Fault in ABS control module/combined instrument panel circuit.

Fault symptom(s)
- No reading on speedometer, depending on fault cause.
