Location Of Components, Alarm Components (Ultrasonic Sensors 7/96, 7/97):

If the control module registers that communication with the ultrasonic sensor is faulty when: The alarm system is voltage charged or the alarm activated or deactivated, Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) GLA-411 is stored after approximately 2 seconds.

- Short-circuit to ground or voltage in communication cable.
- Open-circuit in communication cable.
- Interference affecting communication cable.

Fault symptom[s]
- The indicator LED flashes for 15 seconds when the ignition is switched on.
- The system will not trigger the alarm if there is movement in the passenger compartment
