Inner Sealing Strip

CHH7 Removal of Inner Sealing Strip, Hood Cover:





- Move [1][2]hood to the position shown in the image.





- Pull sealing strip upwards. Take care that film is not removed with the strip and does not tear.
- Remove sealing strip.

CHH8 Installation of Inner Sealing Strip, Hood Cover:

NOTE: Glue film if strip slips at the edge when it is pulled out. Ensure that film does not crease. Avoid pulling strip in longitudinal direction during replacement.

- Use the removed strip if possible.
- If necessary, clean groove where strip will be installed.
- Place a piece of glued string in the bottom of the groove ensuring that no glue gets on any visible surface.
- Press strip into groove, using a pressure tool if necessary.

CAUTION: The surface to which the strip has to be glued must be free of dirt and grease. Both strip and vehicle should be at room temperature.
