Fault-tracing with Volvo System Tester






Refer to Volvo System Tester Fault Tracing ABS Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs)
Read-off and note DTCs and any notification of status and frozen values
If communication with Volvo System Tester is not made, refer to [III], Check the communication to the control module.

Are one or more DTCs posted?

Yes: AA4
No: AA6

Take appropriate action for the respective DTCs and then erase the DTCs.
Ignition off
Test drive the vehicle SA. Test driving.

Are one or more DTCs re-activated ?

Yes: AA4
No: AA5

No DTCs activated
Do symptoms persist?

No: AA8
