Maintenance Required Lamp/Indicator: Description and Operation

The service reminder indicator (SRI) is lit for two minutes each time the engine is started until it is reset after the next service.






The service reminder indicator (SRI) is lit when one of the following factory set service intervals is reached:

750 operating hours
12 calendar months

VDO USA/CAN 15,000 km/10,000 miles
(cars without turbocharger (TC) 750 operating hours
12 calendar months

VDO USA/CAN 7,5OO km/5,000 miles
(cars with turbocharger (TC)) 500 operating hours
