Leak Detection Valve: Service and Repair

Removing EVAP canister shut-off valve
- Disconnect connector
- Remove 2 clamps by the EVAP canister and rear axle joint.

Removing clamp:
- squeeze clamp with a pipe wrench. Hold in place.
- pry apart with a small screwdriver.


Note: These are reusable.


- Disconnect hoses.
- Remove rubber mounting from bracket.


Installing EVAP canister shut-off valve
- In reverse order of removal.

Installing clamp:
- squeeze the clamp with a pipe wrench until it locks.


Note! Use a new screw clip at the EVAP canister. Reuse clamp at the rear axle joint.
