Trouble Code Conditions
- The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) for that injector is stored if an injector circuit is short-circuited to ground/supply voltage or if there is a open-circuit in the circuit.

Substitute value(s)
- Idle air trim disabled.
- Fuel trim disabled.

Possible source(s)
Signal too high:
- Short-circuit to supply voltage in signal cable.
- Defective injector.

Signal too low:
- Short-circuit to ground in signal cable.

Signal missing:
- Open-circuit in signal or power cable.
- Contact resistance in terminals.
- Defective injector.

Fault symptom(s)
- engine not firing on all cylinders. The engine may not start.
