Read off other diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs)
Read off other diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs).
If diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) ABS-431 and ABS-433 or ABS-431 and ABS-443 have been read off then diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) ABS-433 and ABS-443 must be remedied before ABS-431.

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ABS-433 must be remedied before ABS-431.
Continue fault-tracing.
If diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ABS-433 has already been remedied then ignore it when reading off diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs).

Yes - Status check

No - No Fault Found

Continue fault-tracing.

Yes - Status check

No - No Fault Found

Status check
- Disconnect the Volvo Scan Tool (ST) to interrupt diagnostics.

Warning! The ABS and EBD functions are not available when Volvo Diagnostics are activated. Take care when test driving the car as the wheels may lock when braking.




- Test drive car according to Test driving Test Driving
- Read off diagnostic trouble code (DTC) status.

Is the status intermittent?

Yes - Intermittent fault Intermittent Fault

No - Permanent fault Permanent Fault
