Signal too low. Intermittent fault

Checking connectors and wiring




- Ignition off.
- Check convertible top control module connector A for an intermittent short-circuit to ground according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
Connect an ohmmeter between convertible top control module A17 and ground.
Take a reading for an intermittent short-circuit to ground according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
Check ECC control module connector A for an intermittent short-circuit to ground according to Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
Remedy as necessary.

- To access / replace the ECC control module.
- The air conditioning (A/C) system switches to manual control and the equalizer sound changes when the soft-top is opened
