Condition




- The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored within 2 seconds when the signal is short-circuited to supply voltage and the speed is > 2 kph.

Possible source
There is a short-circuit to supply voltage in the speed signal cable between the combined instrument panel and
- ECC.

Fault symptom[s]

Note! The combined instrument panel displays no visible symptoms of this diagnostic trouble code (DTC).

- In cars with ECC, blower fan speed does not drop with increasing speed.
- In cars equipped with a trip computer, incorrect values for average speed, average fuel consumption, actual fuel consumption and trip computer trip odometer are displayed.
